PatternPick – Click-to-Scrape to CSV · Last updated: 4 October 2026
Summary
PatternPick runs entirely inside your browser. It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no ads. Nothing you collect is ever sent to us or to anyone else.
What PatternPick accesses
Only the content of the web page in the tab where you click the PatternPick icon, and only while you are using it there. It uses Chrome's activeTab permission, so it cannot read any other tab or website. If you choose to enable the optional “multi-page mode”, PatternPick may re-open its panel on the next page after you click a “Next” button; it still only runs on pages where you started it.
What PatternPick stores
| Data | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The columns you choose and the rows you collect | Your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device | So a crash or page reload does not lose your work |
| Your settings and whether you accepted the first-run notice | Same | So you are not asked again |
You can delete all saved data at any time from the extension's Options page, or by removing the extension.
What PatternPick shares
Nothing. PatternPick makes no network requests of its own. Exported files go directly to your computer's Downloads folder or clipboard. We do not sell, transfer or use any data for advertising, profiling or credit decisions.
Personal data protection
When a column looks like email addresses or phone numbers, PatternPick flags it and masks it on export by default. You can drop the column, or keep it after confirming you have a lawful basis. You are responsible for how you use data you collect: please respect each website's Terms of Service and privacy laws such as Malaysia's PDPA and the EU GDPR.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
